Doug's father founded Zeller Real Estate in 1965, and he built the business on a simple conviction: every
client deserves someone fully in their corner. Doug grew up inside that lesson, got his California license
in 1991, and has worked real estate full time ever since, including through the 2007 crash, which taught
him more about protecting clients than any classroom could.
Today it is just the two of them: Doug as broker and Nicole as operations partner. The original rule
still shapes every deal they touch: never let a client walk into a transaction without an advocate who has
their back. That is not a slogan. It is the operating manual.
"We tell you what you should hear, not what you want to hear. You can't make this up."
It is why clients get straight answers about wells, septic systems, fire-hazard-zone compliance, and
distressed or inherited properties, even when the truth is inconvenient. It is also why their unofficial
mascot, Vito the dog, shows up in half their social posts: this is a business run by real people who
happen to be very good at real estate.
